Prayer Journal Idea...
Dear Readers,
I have been really excited recently with something that I have caught back up on in my walk.
When I was thirteen, I started writing down my prayers in a journal each day. It helped me to keep track of prayer requests and to be faithful in my communication with God. Anyhow- I have been doing it ever since, but recently have fallen away with this ritual. I stumbled upon one of these journals and was reminded about it. I have started again with a new book now and I am so glad to be back in the swing of my Prayer Journal writing again, as I have missed the comfort of it for a while! Anyways- I just thought that I would mention this idea to you. There are so many benefits to a Prayer Journal, and I just wanted to share with all of you!
If you are having trouble remembering to pray, then this is a great way to get back into things. Just find a notebook or journal and keep it next to your bed for easy remembrance. I also keep a small prayer journal in my Bible case for Sunday so I can have a moment with God before church. It is a wonderful blessing and a great way to keep up to date in your communication with God.
And you know, it is incredible how much God answers our prayers! Sometimes I think that we tend to think of prayer similar to sending out an e-mail. We quickly type out a blurp in our heads and send it out into cyberspace, never really with the faith that we will get a response. I think that we also too often forget that God hears every word we say, that He is next to us all the time, that He already knows what you are going to say before you even say it! He is the Omnipotent God, who hears us, knows us, and loves us even in the rush-and-go of life. There is no prayer that does not reach His ears, or any voice that is not heard but Him. Just remember that no matter how big or how small our prayers can be, God hears us and He will always reply back!
Just thought that I would share this with you....
If you have any prayer requests, please comment here!
